- First tag the release, say 2.2.0c
git tag 2.2.0c
Then push the tag:
git push --tags
- build the release archive:
git archive -o /tmp/cde-src-[version tag].tar.gz [version tag] \
--prefix cde-[version tag]/
where [version tag] is something like 2.2.0c
Then push the tag:
